From what I've heard, 3 years is the worst age gap going from 1 to 2. 2.5-3.5 is a hard time for little ones so a big change like that, when they're used to getting all the attention, can be a struggle. All of mine are 18m apart. I love the way my kids play together, but currently pregnant with my third and that's hard. We went a 4th but will put in a bigger gap this time.

Mine are 14 months apart.
I wouldn’t change it for the world. Tiring at first, but these two have become so close and play a lot together.
They are 3 (turning 4 in Nov) and 5 years old. 
We tried to get pregnant the minute my second turned one but I had 2 miscarriages, those set us back. Due with our 3rd any day now and I feel like it’s perfect timing just because my second born was a little bit more dramatic and high maintenance as a baby and he’s getting so good now.

Everyone’s situation is different. You should do what feels right for you and your family. For me, I wanted to wait until my little me weaned from nursing! We surpassed my goal (it was 12m) he naturally weaned at 18m. 18m was exactly the time we wanted to start trying so to us it felt so right that he stopped naturally right when we wanted to start trying for #2! We got lucky and things worked out, baby girl is due in 23 days!! 💕

My girls are sixteen months apart and I loved it I now have an 8 month old boy and 26 weeks with another boy due on his due date they will be 12 months apart I carnt wait but I have really easy baby’s that sleep right through for 12 hours eat and drink anything and always smiling am really lucky ❤️❤️💙💙

Didn't really want to vote as i think every situation is different.  My boys are 2 years apart and I wouldn't change it. I love it. With that being said my nephew and niece are 1 year apart and their mother wouldn't change it. It's all up to you.
