How do I find abd add groups on the adroid app of glow?

I have the android app on my phone which is completely different to the app I have on my ipad. There is no "join" button for groups on the adroid app only the heading to scroll along the top. This is very frustrating as I have certain groups on my ipad app but can't get them on my phone app. Also can't link my phone app to fitbit. What's going on? Why are they so different on the 2 different devices? They should make them universal. Anyone else have this problem?
