50mg of Clomid to 100mg

Hi! I was bumped up to 100mg of Clomid even though I ovulated last month on 50mg, due to the fact I ovulated so late on CD 34. My doctor hopes that 100mg will bring ovulation forward. I’m on CD 18 and still no sign of ovulating (my opk strips are so light!!). Do you think I’ll still ovulate late or can it completely stop me from ovulating at all? I don’t ovulate by myself at all. Can anyone offer some advice, insight, or their story please? Feeling a little deflated 😔 thank you.
