Pregnant with mono/di twins and so worn out
I am now 24 weeks along. I have good days and then some really bad days. I was laid off due to the pregnancy being high risk so I'm not working. So I'm home all the time and don't get a lot of activity like I used to. Lately though I'll have a day or two where I'll have energy to go out and do stuff and get out of the house but like today was so bad. I woke up at 5am after another night of having trouble falling asleep. Well I went pee then went and laid down again. Sleeping on and off until noon. Just felt utter exhaustion. Got up for a little while and ate some soup and then back to bed. Exhausted and feeling crummy.
Why? Why is my whole pregnancy being like this. I thought the second trimester was where you got some energy back and could enjoy the time. I'm so tired and worn out and achy.
I had gastric bypass four years ago after breaking my back and I have not been able to eat as much as I think I should be. I just don't feel hungry a lot. I also have hypothyroidism so it's like everything is stacked against me. Then I got pregnant with twins after a miscarriage and they are mono/di which turns out I have to go see a specialist on Tuesday since the last ultrasound wasn't as good as my doctor would like. I am barely scraping by financially as my husband is the only provider now that I dont have a job. I'm so stressed out! I'm so emotional and scared and just don't know what to do.
This is so overwhelming!!!!
