17 week ultrasound - accurate for gender??

Question

I have an ultrasound booked in for 17 weeks specifically to find out the gender of baby.
Is an ultrasound at this time reliable/accurate?? Now I’m all worried that they won’t be able to tell or will get it wrong 😬

Yes absolutely! I had mine at 14 and they could clearly see! You should be fine, as long as baby cooperates!

Thats exactly when I found out the gender and it was very accurate. 🙂

With my son I had an ultrasound at 15 weeks and my OB could easily tell. It probably depends on how cooperative baby is and the right angles and all that.

Yes it should be. Mine were correct at 14 weeks with both my daughters

They should be able to it's just up to the baby & how they do the ultrasound
