Headaches ?!

Hi all. I have been getting daily headaches that are sometimes fine and I can deal with it but some days they are so intense. I never had them in my life before. Anyone else experiencing this and if so what are you doing to help ? I'm afraid to take any medicine for it.

I've been getting them a lot lately. I also haven't taken any types of meds and my sisters a pharmacist. What helps is drinking bitter lemon juices(caffeine free) or cutting Lemon and biting into it. It's an old Albanian wives tail and it helps so much!

Me, me!!! Headaches were actually my first pregnancy symptom and they haven't stopped at 10 weeks. They are starting to become less frequent, but I still get them. I drink a lot of water and that helps. I read if you usually get migraines they can be worse during pregnancy, but so far they've just been headaches. Apparently it should get better in the second trimester... Like everything else!

I get frequent headaches also but they never last too long, it will come for a few and then go away but extremely discomforting

Go in for a massage! A lot of headaches are caused by muscle stuffness in the neck. Otherwise make sure you're drinking 8-10 cups of water a day. You need more during pregnancy, and try to eat lots of small snacks throughout the day to balance your blood sugar.

I have been having this too. Nearly everyday the past week. It gets really bad to the point where my eyes are sensitive to light. Usually eating, drinking lots of water and a quick nap if I can get one helps. I've read that the headaches are due to the hormones. I've strayed away from taking any pain relievers also, even though Tylenol was recommended too. Glad to know I'm not alone. I'm 9weeks2days, and haven't had too many other symptoms yet, so I'm hopeful this will pass once into the 2nd trimester!

I roll up a heating pad and put it on the back of my neck and it helps with my headaches.

I had frequent headaches when I was pregnant with my daughter at the beginning.

Me too! It seems like I've had one every day,  even got a migraine last week =( I haven't taken anything even though I was told I could take acetaminophen. I'm very hydrated and still work out every other day...not sure what else to do either! The only thing that helps is heat or alt heat/ice but is temporary.
