Infant Covid?

My 8 month old daughter just tested positive today. She got it from another baby at daycare who ended up testing positive yesterday. He was sick all last week and still brought to daycare. My daughters symptoms started Sunday evening. The only symptoms so far are runny nose (also teething), mild wet cough & grumpier than usual. She did have a fever for <12 hours but below 101.
Any tips or tricks on a quicker recovery??

Get a humidifier it helped my husband. Just give her lots of cuddles. I’m sorry daycare didn’t send that baby home they should’ve because it’s literally affecting others and their families. Best of luck!

I worked at a daycare for a short time and an infant brought Covid in as well and spread it, the whole facility had to be shut down since the infant was there the whole week she was sick, we even told mom to pick her up at the beginning of the week and take her to the dr but mom said “she’s just developing a milk allergy” so we couldn’t really do anything about it until she was running a fever by mid week :( luckily all the kiddos recovered fine! Back to playing happily and normally by the end of the quarantine❤️ hoping for fast healing for your little one!

My son and I had covid when my son was 6 months. He wasn’t that sick thankfully. He had a runny nose, more tired, and not as hungry. But he only seemed sick for 2 days. He really just needed to be cuddled and he loved warm baths. He handled it very much. I don’t  have much advice but I did take my sons temperature everyday and cuddled all day long
