Can you request a c section after loss?

Question

I was 22 weeks when I lost my baby so I had to give birth to her. Currently TTC and I was wondering if anyone knows if you can request a c section? I'm in the UK.
I feel like it would be less stressful and I would also want to get my tubes tied after. I was offered it after having a third degree tear last pregnancy but decided not to then lost the baby.

Yes you can they only really like for you to have because of health reasons but your mental health is a vaild health reason. I had  3 losses and was 40 by the time I was ready to give birth. Im all so a neonatal nurse and my anxiety was though the roof that I would have a post dates still birth (greater risk at a older age) or the baby would suffer birth trauma. I was allowed a planned c secion but later decide to be incuded at 38 week but it failed. So had my c/s after all. 
Talk to your midwife after a prem birth you would be classed as high risk and be under a consultant. Take to them they will understand your reasons and help you.

Yes you can, I lost my baby at 40 weeks in April and I went to the doctors last month for the post mortem and she was talking me through future pregnancies and said I can have a c section if I wish. Good luck in ttc, sending baby dust.

You can request one but they don’t advise you to have one unless it’s absolutely necessary. 
Its definitely not easier to have a csection at all, its major surgery and the recovery is awful and exhausting with a new born.
