How can the sperm get to the egg if there isn't any fertile cm?

It's confusing. Is it "rare"? I've seen many comments being pushed about "ideal living conditions for sperm"

And just as many comments saying you can still get pregnant without ewcm. Well which is it.

For those who chart ovulation, does CM line up with it? Have you fallen pregnant without fertile CM? Do you typically have EWCM before or after or during ovulation?

What about sex 2 or 3 days before fertile cm starts. "There's no way, you need fertile CM" ....but you don't? What?
