Steroid shots reactions

Hi ladies, I’ve had to have two steroid shots incase baby decides to come early. Around 20ish hours after the first shot, I had a weird red hot rash on my face and my palms went all blotchy. The doctors weren’t sure what the cause was exactly but said it may have been the steroids.. I’m now 20 hours after my second shot and the same thing has happened again on my face. Is this a normal reaction to the steroids? Rather uncomfortable as it’s burning and tingling. I’m due to be discharged in the next hour and don’t want to leave if it’s not a normal reaction!
