GP note to work from home

Hi, my work have asked me for a GP note to accept my request of carrying on working from home 🙄 I have an office job and there is no need for me to be in the office. I feel safer at home as I am petrified of catching covid during pregnancy (unvaccinated) and I still follow social distancing, facemasks, and limit my contact with others. This is no longer possible in the office. It seems abit silly they are asking me for a GP note, is this something a GP would provide? I’m 24 weeks.
