Can you all tell me if I’m wrong?

Am I wrong? He does not help financially and he complains every time he get them. The reason he had to get them the extra day honestly not even a whole day because he got them from school was because of my work schedule and he was off. My mom and dad usually get them but I was trying to give them a break because I know it can be tiring. I went and got the kids a hour away last night because he refused to bring them to our meet spot. 
My babies are 5 months and 2 btw

I actually think you’re both wrong. Pick up the phone and have this talk face to face. Parenting is very tiring. You know that. Perhaps he’s simply trying to connect with you on a parent level. Him saying he’s tired doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to have his kids. Talk about what works best for both of you. It’s not a competition of who sleeps when! Parenting is literally synonymous with diminished sleep. He sounds exasperated and dramatic. You sound frustrated, you snapped and he stopped communicating. That isn’t working. You two have a few things in common- you’re both parents, you both work, you’re both tired and you both have some problems with one another. Work them out! Listen and discuss. 
If he’s not financially helping- put him on child support!

Wow. He wants to be an uncle, not a father. You don’t get to give them back whenever you fancy and have your beauty sleep when you’re a parent. 
Having said that, as much as he’s being a complete asshole, I would still allow him access so that the kids don’t miss out. If he chooses to let them down, at least you know you’ve always done all you can.

Maybe you guys just need a new schedule if weekends really are the only times he gets to relax and have fun because he works during the week days then maybe offer every other weekend and see if he agrees to that you both need to try and see eachothers point of view
