Stds heart palpitations

Has any of you had an std or sti that made your heart race uncontrollably? I think I was having heart palpitations because my body was trying to fight off the infection on it’s own for so long. Not sure if it’s one of the symptoms. I found out I have chlamydia and been taking the antibiotics. I’m on day two. Anybody had any experience please let me know! I’ve also read up that if you have an std/sti that if you don’t deal with it quick enough it could lead to sepsis. And heart racing/heart attacks have been linked to catching an std/sti.. it was only one article I found about std’a being related to heart rate
