Is your Facebook(/instagram/whatsapp) working currently?

We've been having issues with all Facebook related apps, so instagram, messenger, facebook, whatsapp.
It's a bit of an issue because we discuss workstuff on our whatsapp group.
I'm just checking to see how broad this issue is.

According to Google there's a worldwide outage. Conveniently, saw an article this morning about a whistle-blower saying that Facebook knows their app is "harmful" to its users because they allow the spread of hateful language and misinformation. Seems kind of sus. Their stocks are also down today.

I litterally just uninstalled my facebook app and reinstalled it because it keeps saying I don't have a internet connection when I do (uninstalling and reinstalling did not help haha).

Its absolutely irritating. Where we live there are no cell towers. Cell service is not a thing. Everything is done via wifi. Messenger is our primary form of communication. Especially with the rest of the family out here and our boss. Thank fuck we have walkie talkies and intercoms between the houses.

My what’s app was down from quarter to 5ish last night, so was my partners..& My SIL!! My partner messaged me at 1:05am saying it’s working now. He was doing a night shift at work so he was keeping me up to date on what was happening.

Probably they’re “fixing” some stuff since that whistle blower is set to testify against them in front of Congress.
