Brunette to blonde?

This seems silly to think about but this is my 3rd kid But 1st girl. My boys were born pure blonde. My 4 year old has dark blonde hair now but my 13 month old is still very blonde.  Anyway my daughter was born with dark hair and I was so excited (I’m brunette) but I’ve seen babies turn blonde and I’m afraid she will too. I just want one brunette like me 😆 did any of you have a baby go from dark to blonde?

I’ve seen both ways and actually both my dad and brother were blondes until age 10. Now they both have very dark brown hair. My toddler had straight black hair when he was born but now it’s light brown and curly.

My daughter had some brown hair at birth and it all fell out, she’s got curly blonde hair now so who knows

My son a born with a crap ton of dark hair. Almost black. It’s medium brown now. My daughter was born with not so much light brown hair and hers is strawberry blonde. My newest daughter was born with dark brown hair. I’m assuming her color will be somewhere in between theirs.

My first was born with a small amount of dark brown hair. When that baby hair rubbed off, his hair came in blonde. It’s been getting darker for the last year (but lightens every summer) and is now a dirty blonde, trending toward light brown. Mine did the same when I was a baby and gradually darkened to dark brown by the time I was 4. My second had a little lift brown hair at birth. When it rubbed off, it grew in blonde. She’s 2 and currently a darker blonde. My third was born with dark blonde hair, but I fully expect he’ll follow the same trend. Dad and I both have dark brown hair, so I kinda expect theirs will all change, but ya never know. No blondes in our recent genetic lines though, so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Not blonde but both my babies had very dark, almost black hair when they were born.  Now my almost 2 year old has very light brown hair.  I can tell my August baby’s hair is already starting to lighten as well
