I consider myself to be “happily married” but I’ve been waiting on a ring for quite a while now lmao. My bf and I have been together for 5 years and have an almost 3 yr old son together. Sometimes when I feel like our relationship is being neglected it leaves me vulnerable to accidentally forming those bonds with other people. There was a guy at work that I had almost convinced myself was better than my bf at one point (he would’ve been a total downgrade) 
The important thing is that I never crossed any boundaries of my relationship. This guy was attracted to me and I kept him at his distance and repeatedly told him we would only ever be friends. Although there was some flirting going on at work, it was nothing crazy. I made sure to be aware of my feelings and figure out why I was feeling that way. I eventually came to terms with the fact that I was happy where I was and I think I just had a baseline human attraction/chemistry with the guy at work and being around him every day made it worse.

I know plenty of people who are happily married but still have crushes. 
You can’t help who you find attractive. However if you aren’t in an open or Polyamorous relationship, you shouldn’t act upon it.

Definitely normal, and if you ever feel like it could be more than just a cruch talk to your partner and tell them what exactly it is your feeling. My partner can't stand the idea of me with another guy physically, but me telling him how another guy / girl makes me feel turns him on so much. We've had 3somes with girls we both like and it's been a nice experience for the both of us.

It's completely normal to develop crushes or see people as attractive no matter what your dating or marital status is. The difference is how you react. If your relationship is monogamous, you have to remind yourself that's off limits and be done.
I've been married twice now and had a long term live in situation before that. Each of those relationships has had its own set of limits on what was ok or not, ranging from "look but don't touch" to "nice to meet you, this is my girlfriend's girlfriend."
