Weird symptoms?

Period is due sometime the next few days,

Past 4 or 5 days I've been mildly cramping with ewcm that is a but watery. Today it was ewcm, and by noon is creamy white. Lotion-y.

Weird thing is, I took two tests and both negative, period is going to be here any day and I'm not even bloated.

What gives? Can you have that type of cm, absolutely zero bloating and still get a period? Is my body cramping trying to push the uterine lining out but I never ovulated and made one? Is that a thing???
