Sick Little One?

Hey girls,
So my son for the past week has been excessively drinking water. As of the past three days he’s been running a fever of 102.3 off and on, mostly at night. He’s also been having loose stools. He will eat just fine in the morning and afternoon, but toward the evening and night he has no interest in food, gets moody, pale and acts sick. Anyone’s kids act the same?? What did they have?

He needs to be checked for type 1 diabetes.  Several symptoms you listed are major red flags for diabetes.

Excessively drinking water can be a sign of diabetes, so I would that checked asap.

Diharrea could cause the water drinking? But the fever I'm not sure on..does he go to daycare at all? Is anyone else sick with close contact? 
If it's a fever at night is he dressed to warm?.house too hot? 
Hard to say if he's acting normal during most the day!

If my son was acting like this I'd get him pedyalite for the 💩,  and a few pediasure for when he doesn't want to eat. Maybe a bug? Keep track of his temp give Tylenol and motrin interchangeably. If the fever continues for 5+ days If talk to his doctor could need antibiotics.  Good luck 👍 💓
