Insertion pain

I’ve recently been having pain when my boyfriend tries to insert himself during sex. To preface, this all started about 3 weeks ago when I used a towel to wipe myself and did it a little too hard. It caused multiple tears on my vulva and caused a tear at the bed of my vulva. I haven’t ever had pain like this prior to that happening. The tear at the end of my vulva kept healing and then would tear again when we would try to have sex again. Tonight, since it has been healed for a couple of days, I decided we would try again with having sex. The part that had been teared hurt but it wasn’t re-tearing, so we continue. Once he got a tiny bit inside it started hurting at the opening despite having more than enough lube. I’ve looked at it and it looks pretty normal and haven’t had any smell or weird discharge come from it. It feels like a burning sensation kind of like when you get a friction burn from sex every time he tried to put it in even a little. Same thing happened when he used his finger (with lube) prior to us trying to have sex but I brushed it off as him having maybe rough skin on his finger (felt his finger after and it felt fine). Although I was able to put a finger in earlier today myself with absolutely no issue. I am trying to find a doctor in my area if this persists but was wondering if anyone else has had an experience like this before or has any theories as what it could be. I was thinking it’s just irritation from when I wiped that just hasn’t gone away but idk I feel like it would’ve healed by now. I personally can’t remember having an experience like this before ever.
