Have you ever bought glasses online?

I have an eye appointment today and instead of spending a lot of money there for glasses I heard you could just ask them for your prescription and order them yourself online. Has anyone ever done this?
If so what site?

I use zen I & have been for like 10 years. 100% recommend. I used to by the expensive ones but I would 1. Get tired of the look of them quickly and 2. Always break them. So switching to the online cheap ones was so much better for me!

I’ve done this many times from payneglasses.com super affordable but my eye doctor said it’s absolutely horrible to order them online 🤷🏻‍♀️ I never had any issues though I’d be a bit weary if you have like a complicated prescription. I have also purchased from firmoo before but the quality wasn’t as good. I’ve heard good things about zenni as well never tried them because they’re a little more expensive.

Yip. For the last six years. The glasses online are perfectly fine and a fraction of the price instore, even with the absolute cheapest frames. I'm likely in a different country than you and the place I used to buy from closed anyway, but check the reviews as well as the return policy and you should be good to go.
