What would you rather do as a married couple?
I am having my Second baby here shortly. I will be 40 within a few years (Menopause can happen in your 40s or 50s, but the average age is 51 in the United States.) I don’t see the point in tying my tubes at this point in the road especially if my husband might want another kiddo before my body kicks into menopause stage of life.
My husband and I have discussed not wanting another and doing something more proactive and particle so we have less worried about our sexual relationship.
I did some research and found out on average that female tube tying is generally 6-7times more expensive and way more risky and long to heal/recover than the males version aka vasectomy.
I really don’t want to continue with pills at my age and implants are not an option I have the worst lucky with things of that nature.
Fun fact: If you had your vasectomy less than 10 years ago, success rates in your being able to produce sperm in your ejaculate again are 95% or higher after a vasectomy reversal. If your vasectomy was more than 15 years ago, the success rate is lower. Actual pregnancy rates vary widely — usually from 30 to more than 70%.
So please let me know WHAT you personally do for yourself and not for me. Just want to know what all you personally desire once you come to this moment for yourselves.
My husband was happy and willingly to get it done for us after we did the research about everything involved with it. We came along way for things of this nature.
