Do you believe in soul mates?

I really would love any kind of input of this topic.

There was this guy I met we were young. At the time he was just a guy that I met that didn’t mean much to me. I had a boyfriend at the time so I let this other guy go

Fast forward years on we continued conversation on & off. He told me I was the first person he loved & that also broke his heart.

He told me no matter who he was with I was always there in his heart & he is also in mine always.

Fast forward to being 23 & he’s still there. We lost contact & honestly he’s there, he’s in my heart, I think of him always, he’s on my mind constantly.

He told me he has always loved me & I believe him, because I think I’ve always loved him

I just want to know do you believe in soul mates? Do you believe the feelings I feel for him & I know that even tho I hurt him he feels for me.

There’s no way I feel this way about someone for so long & there’s no reason behind it.

I feel so much in me when I think about him. I want to just reach out & tell him how I feel & how he’s there in my heart & on my mind. All the conversations & feelings I know we both feel.

Has anyone else ever felt this? Is this love or is this lust for something I never got to receive ?
