Is it weird to give a child an obvious pop culture name?
I am a big fan of the Lord of the Rings, and the name Thèoden stands out to me.
My husband doesn't like pop culture names and thinks if we name any of our possible future sons that name, he will be bullied or people will think we are weird.
I find his distaste for pop culture names funny now, our daughter's name is Sylvia, we call her Sylvie, and if you watch the marvel show, Loki, you know that any name can be a pop culture name. Right?
But I guess Thèoden is too obvious... idk...
