No period but (-) pregnancy test?

I haven't had my period since the last week of October but I have taken 2 pregnancy tests and both were negative! I haven't skipped a period in years so I'm not sure what to think. I did have an episode of very mild spotting about a week or so ago but it was very light.. Nothing I would consider a period. Thoughts or advice? Thanks in advance!
