Katherine vs Kathleen
Hi! We are pregnant with a baby girl and plan to call her “Kate”. Both Katherine and Kathleen are family names, and Kathleen in particular is my husband’s mother who we both admire. But kathleen feels like the more dated of the two names so I am hesitant….that said Kate is obviously a little more modern and would be her day to day name. What do you think?
