Sex??

Question

Not the gender of the baby, the sex that makes the baby lol. Where does everyone stand? Are you doing it? Not? Scared to? I’m trying to justify my lack of drive and my hubby just doesn’t understand. I have a fear it’ll hurt me or hurt the baby (even though the dr already cleared me) but more so, I just don’t care for it nor want it 🤷🏻‍♀️ Is anyone else with me?

Sex is safe and fine but I want nothing to do with it when I’m pregnant. Not sure if it’s the hormones, feeling like ass or just that I feel like a beached whale, but I’m not interested in the least. This is my second pregnancy.

Unless there's some reason the Dr told you not to, you can have sex all you want. It sounds though, like you don't want to which is totally fine too! I typically have a lot of nausea in the first trimester which doesn't exactly make for a sexy evening haha but once that clears up my sex drive goes way up in the second trimester. Hopefully you'll get there and your husband will be understanding of your wishes until then!

With this pregnancy I want it all the time. My BF was adjusting himself one day and I told him to stop because i was getting all excited. 
With my daughter I didnt want it at all and think we had sex three times that 15 months. I couldnt have sex for almost five months after baby was born because i was in so much pain healing after a rough delivery. I hemorrhaged real bad and was taking forever to heal. 
An my older two boys i honestly dont remember it was  13 and 11 years ago. LOL

I’m in the same boat as you! I just have absolutely no drive, and it sounds like a chore at the moment. My man is not understanding at all, especially since this is my second and I was not like this at all with my daughter. This pregnancy has been COMPLETELY different for me. I feel like shit pretty much 24/7 even though the nausea has subsided for the most part. I’m really praying that I feel a little more like myself in a couple weeks!

My husband has been resistant, but it’s not like I can right now anyway as I’m high risk. It does concern me that we’ll have a super long dry spell once I’m out of the immediate danger zone. I’d love to know what’s worked with other ladies that have gone through this.

Currently on pelvic rest because of spotting but my desire during pregnancy is basically nil. My husband tolerates the decline but it’s not his favorite thing!

I honestly am somewhere in the middle. I had a bleed at 7 weeks after we had sex which had me freaked for a little but we are back at it now. But it still makes me a little nervous!
