Breastfeeding and bottles

When you are primarily nursing but also need baby to take a bottle once in a while, what bottles did your little one prefer? My first son I did not produce enough for him so he perfected the bottle. My second son was breastfed and refused bottle. Refusing bottles obviously made it difficult if I wanted to go out shopping with friends and kid free. He would refuse until I got home. I had plenty of stored milk to provide him and had to gift away a deep freezer full of breastmilk because he would not take it!
