Membrance stripped @39weeks. Anyone? How was it?

Had mine stripped this morning. Provider said it could take up to 2 days to work. Having contraction here and there rn. Hopefully it works for me. Anyone had it? How was it?

Haven't had mine done yet but considering the same at 39 weeks which will be in just a couple!  Let us know how it goes! Good luck!

I had mine done at 39w3d and went into labor 12 hours later.  I was 3cm 50% effaced with my second baby when i had my membranes swept.

Did you ask for it at your appointment? or call ahead? I have my 39 week apt friday and wanted to get one

I’ve had great luck with sweeps! My first pregnancy I had it at 40+4 weeks and he was born the next day, my second pregnancy I had it on my due date and he was born the next day.
