Breastfeeding and cycles

So I got my period back 5 months pp. but it seems I’m having abnormal cycle lengths. I’m averaging about 47 days. I didn’t used to be that long a cycle prior to pregnancy. Could breastfeeding be causing this? My period lengths are average 5 days. Wondering if I should be consulting a dr or just wait to see if weaning helps (though I don’t plan on stopping breastfeeding anytime soon and we are talking about baby #2)
