Help me!! ☹️

How many dates should I wait until we have sex? I’m tired of the talking stages but I know nothing good really comes from jumping in bed with someone. It’s so confusing because when I didn’t have sex with someone and wanted them to wait they just flat out ignored me but when I didn’t I got the same I know not all guys are the same but they are different with the same volumes. I started talking to this guy and we planned on doing something but I suggested maybe we wait and talk more until I feel we should have sex I just can’t handle the one night stand stuff even if he was my go to person I’d be fine with that but I’m 20 and one nights stands which I’ve only had two just don’t feel good. And yes 20 seems young but I didn’t really date or have sex as a teenager so now I really do have sorta high expectations for what I want sexually.
