Induction experiences?

Question

So I’m getting induced in 2 weeks at 37 weeks due to my baby being underweight. Can anyone with a similar experience let me know their story? Or how your experience was being induced

Hi :) 
I was induced 2 weeks ago with syntocin (synthetic oxytocin) by IV. I was terrified it was going to be hard and that it would lead to more interventions, resulting in a deviation from the birth I had hoped to experience. I was dreading induction day and trying anything to go to labor naturally. I was being induced because of a marginal cord insertion that resulted in low birth weight. I imagined all the worst case scenarios, trust me. Let me tell you, I had the best birth I could have imagined. I had amazing nurses and amazing OBGYNs that helped to support all my birth wishes. I had a fantastic doula who helped me push through the tough parts. I was able to move around and labor how I wanted. They asked me if I was ready to bump up the dose of syntocin before they did it. Ironically, we were discussing an artificial rupture of membranes when my water broke naturally. I was slow to progress (6 hours and I only went from 3cm dilated to 4cm dilated). But then I progressed very quickly - 4cm to holding a baby in my arms in 1 hour. When things ramped up, the contractions were tough, but you can get through them! I kept telling myself "you can do anything for 1 minute" and you just focus on breathing through labor, minute by minute. I ended up needing no interventions, things went smoothly, I had a healthy baby, delivery was very quick, and the induction was way better than I expected it to be.

￼I was induced. They inserted cerdavil then let me leave for a bit, cramping enough to make me cranky so period cramps alll day. Finally started having some serious pains, got back to the hospital and was at a 5, dilated to a 9 in 20 minutes and there she was! It was “easier” than my first birth for sure

I’m being induced right now. They started me on cytotec (idk how you spell it lol) and did 2 rounds of that which got me to 3cm, it was mostly like bad period cramps I could tough through it. Then after like an hour I got to 4cm and they broke my water, then started me on pitocin, that’s when the pain got really bad but I got to 6cm before asking for an epidural. Now I’m waiting to be checked but I’m fully effaced and baby is engaging and I’m not in any pain thankfully cause the epidural. Was able to take a few naps too
