Stolen From?.... [Update]

Gabby

UPDATE:

Hey ladies I know we all know she stole and a lot of you are livid for me. I just wanted to state this post was me telling you what happened today.

I get she stole from me, but I also wasn't using those items she stole. They have been sitting in my apartment for 2 months now almost and before that 3 or 4 months in storage at my old house. I'm not mad that she stole from me at all. She may have her reasons even if her only reason is the satisfaction of getting away with it.

But I honestly don't feel like she stole knowing she had the money to pay for the items.

I don't want to come off judging from 1st opinions, but based off her presentation of herself physically, clothing / hair / and aroma she gave off ( along with state in which her vehicle was in) I genuinely think she may of not had the funds. I get that doesn't make it right and that she may just re-sell them as her own. An I'm okay with that because I didn't have a purpose for them. If she sells them and the profits are able to help her or her family out in even the smallest way then I'm happy. I'm happy if she even kept them to brighten her home and to just have something nice.

Her son was a teen and he did give me a almost sorry/ pity look even before his mom handed him the items and told him to take them to the car. By his eyes and body language I could tell he was uncomfortable and felt badly. I don't think he agrees with her behavior.

So I just wanted to let you girls know I'm not reporting her / I'm not calling the cops / outing her. She did wrong me, however I'm going to just wish the best for her and her family. Times are hard enough, and necessities are being price gauged, so you know things such as housing decor is also being price gauged.

I just want to think she stole it because she needed it to help her emotionally maybe or financially.

OG POST:

Hey ladies I posted some items on the FB market place they were all brand new housing decor that I just don't have the room for in my new apartment. I posted the listing price as $0 but in the description put down the prices for each item.

The post itself it was labeled, "Individually Priced Home Decor"

I had a lady say she'd love to come see the items and she came by with her son to what I thought was look at the items at the very least.

When she came in she looked them over and picked them up, and I said I was willing to negotiate the price if she took them all as a lot. She then said perfect and had her son take them out to the car.

He came up saying the car door was locked. She excused herself to go hand him the keys to unlock the door to the car. An I said no problem and kind of just closed my door leaving a crack so my toddlers wouldn't try running out. End of story is she got into the car and drove off and didn't pay me.

I guess she needed it more than me, and just didn't think it was worth paying for?

I debated messaging her as the items are all brand new. An for all of then are $200 something but I posted then for half the price just to declutter. I settled on just not messaging and not doing anything about it as my F's given are literally a fat zero.

I just kind of still am in shock that she legit said she wanted them and said that's awsome when I suggested lowering the price even more if she bought as a bundle. An then she just left without paying. I guess it's just something I didn't think I'd have happen ever 😅
