Any concerns with getting the runt of a litter?

Question

My in-laws adopted a cat who was pregnant. I have fallen in love with the runt and I need her lol
Do they end up having more health problems than the others though? Not that it would stop me from getting her, I just want to know if there are any concerns I should be aware of and keeping an eye out for.
We'll need to take her in for her shots and everything once we get her, so of course I'll talk to the vet too.

No issues. Both my cats were the runts! They are both normal sized (even were overweight for a bit 😂). My one cat gets UTIs often but that is normal for any cat (especially when they refuse to eat wet food). Lol 
I love my runts! 
I also had a dog that was the runt of the litter. My brother got her brother. My dog had way less medical issues than my brothers dog.

my sister took the runt of my cat's liter, he was the smallest and had a broken arm from the mom moving around i'm guessing we're not sure? so he had a fever from it being infected and the vet said he has slight brain damage from it and he can't smell, he's just a little bit slower on his reaction and can't walk on that one arm but other than that he ended up being the biggest cat of the litter!! the only health issues he ever had wasnt from being the runt either

We have the runt of the litter and she had a couple of rotten teeth and a very low appetite. There were some behavioral issues too, but that could’ve been due to the fact that she was unfortunately taken away from her mother too early

My cat was the runt and she is just smaller, even now. I can leave her food bowl out and she snacks on it and doesnt over feed herself. Its awesome! No health issues other than she throws up if she eats treats so we only give her food and the occasional can of tuna.

Not necessarily. Sometimes they’re just smaller, that doesn’t always mean they’re more prone to health issues or anything.
My cat was the runt, I adopted him from the shelter. He’s a small adult cat, only 8lbs, my female tabby weighs 13lbs. But he’s also about 15 years old and healthy as can be. The vet thought he was half his age.

Sometimes they can; I got the runt of the litter (chocolate lab) and he’s as healthy as can be! He’s almost 2 years old and I’ve had no issues as of yet. 
Typically if they have health issues they won’t survive the first few weeks after birth.

Both of my cats were “runts” one is totally normal and on the smaller side. She weighs only 6lbs but is totally healthy otherwise. She was pretty sick with an eye, ear and respiratory infection when I adopted her but she recovered and has been fine since. She’s now about 13. The other actually has stunted growth so he’s huge (Maine coon mix, weighs 20lbs) but he’s short. I was told he was 3 months only when I adopted him but the vet said he was closer to 9 months. He also has some bladder issues but those are more common in male cats so it’s more likely from that rather than him being the runt.
