How long did it take to go into labor?

I'm 36wks some odd days, and I've been having contractions 4-30minutes apart roughly a minute each how long did it take you to go into labor from that rough time frame between contractions?

Everyone is different. With my second born I was having mild contractions around 5pm and by id say 8-9 pm that night me and my partner had sex to see if his semen would help irritate my cervix more and send me into labor. Sure enough by midnight I was in full blown labor having contractions every 3 mins apart lasting 30-60 seconds consistently. No breaks. By 356AM my water broke after a very strong contraction. In my experience my contractions were so painful I could NOT walk and had to stop whatever I was doing while a contraction would come on. With my third born same. Except my waters broke as I walked into triage. But I knew I was in labor because the contractions are just so intense you couldn’t do anything while having one. You could potentially go Into labor anytime , just depends when your baby is ready! Fingers crossed for you mama! Hope it happens soon for you!
