has anyone with colitis/crohn’s disease got the vaccine ?

my boyfriend is 23 and is going to get vaccinated as required for work. he has ulcerative colitis/crohn’s disease which is already putting his immunity lower than the average person. i was wondering if anyone has any experience to share about how they felt, side effects etc. WITH crohn’s or colitis. his doctor said he should be ok with other medications he’s on but i just want to hear other first hand experiences, thank you!

My mom has pretty severe ulcerative colitis and she’s double vaccinated. It made her a little tired and she had a sore arm but other than that, she didn’t get any bad side effects; however, at her last Remicade infusion they took blood tests to see if the vaccine worked for her and it turns out she has zero antibodies. She may as well be completely unvaccinated. She has to have a 3rd shot now, but even that’s not guaranteed to give any antibodies either.
