Had a d&c Tuesday could someone explain?

I was 12 1/2 weeks with a Mmc. I didn’t pass anything on my own. I was told they would do testing on baby but I’m not sure what this means. I messaged my dr but it’s the weekend now!

This won’t have any results of any testing that they did on the baby this is basically telling you that a lab received tissue samples, when I had my D&C in May they told me that they were going to do testing as well and I actually had to wait about three or four weeks for those results to come back and I had to call my doctor for them.
