Break up or not to break up

So back in may i was in Mexico and matched with a guy from back home and we started talking and we hit it off good. We ended up getting together while i was over there and he would say “i wish you were here so i can take you out and be together” and now I’ve been back home for 4 months and we haven’t even had a first date! I gave him multiple chances to come over and chill/party with me And my family but hes always “working” and i understand he works alot but like damn i feel as if im not as important as he says. I feel like im putting in all this effort while hes not.
