Run for the hills??

I know most men are not affectionate. But what if he’s unemotional, not affectionate, not sappy (just how he’s raised) but somewhat sympathetic? You show him how much you care, treat him well, help his business grow. He tells you he’s appreciative and that it doesn’t go unnoticed. He’s dealing with depression but always tells you how he appreciates everything. But he just can’t show that affection. Not a hugger, not a big kisser, sex isn’t emotional. Do you run although for an unemotional person he tells you how grateful? Or do you stick by him Bc he must date deep down inside?
