Am I the only person in the world who doesn’t want a house?

Question

I’m about to turn 30 and really only interested in continuing to travel with my fiancé. We’re not necessarily thinking about kids right now so eventually this following statement might change but even when I have kids, I’d love a situation where we move from country to country every 10 or so years. We both work remotely full time, he did even before the pandemic, and I’m just not interested in feeling tied down to any one place. Am I broken? Is anyone else doing this? 
In an ideal world I’d have some type of rental property that I pay someone to manage and then have that be home base for whenever I do visit home. Is this crazy?? Am I really just not thinking clearly

Not broken, just like traveling. My brother in law will be 50 this year and he's only ever owned one house. He hated it and would prefer renting. He was in the military since he was a teen (just retired) and loves the ability to just move on to the next place when he needs to. Some people just like the freedom of not having to worry about a house.

I'm kinda the same way, that's why I bought a condo and I can rent it out whenever I want to and go traveling. The rent money will take care of my mortgage and taxes so I don't have to worry about anything when I'm gone.
I didn't want to waste money paying rent and that's why I decided to buy instead.

We are in the military and every time we get stationed somewhere new, we buy a house then sell it once we transfer to a new place. 
We have never thought about owning a house as other than an investment. Land always appreciates in value so even if we don’t make a huge profit from our equity, we still end up with some profit. 
We think of the houses we buy as investments and nothing more.

You’re not broken. If that’s the life you want you should do it! Homeownership is not a necessity but I think a majority of people find security in it. Renting is so damn expensive now anyway. I just bought my house last year and plan to have it paid off in 9 years or sooner. I want to travel as well but having a home base is important to me.

I go back and forth. We have owned, we have rented and bought and sold again. Being able to easily move around is a huge perk of renting. We just transferred across the country at basically a moments notice because all we had to do was break the lease. We have a 2.5 yr old, so we are going to need to figure it out sooner rather than later, but we are renting for now to decide if this is definitely where we want to buy 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’d say there are plenty of people who don’t want to settle in one place. Fella I went to school with was set on essentially being a modern sort of nomad, and where I live I see others in the warm season. People mistake them for beggars and people who are just homeless by circumstance. But they choose a free life. They seem to travel with the seasons, I look forward to seeing them in the warm times as I often trade with them or buy things from them. 
They come with interesting things collected on their travels, and they are often also musicians and artists.

I live in a 2019 fifth wheel and travel when ever I want. I’ll buy a house when I’m a little older but for now it’s perfect!
