Does he have a point?

I really don’t think this is how relationships work. I’m beyond exhausted.

We have been together 10 years. Never lived together. 😓 why? Not sure….we were always broke I guess.

It got to a point where he was making a lot of money and so was I. He told me he wanted to get me pregnant. He was very serious about it. Like to the point he got angry if I didn’t stop taking my birth control.

I told him we need to have a talk about finances and see where we at. He never bothered to do so. We never had this talk in person. We always talked about over text. It seemed like he wasn’t even serious.

So one day he told me “babe start looking at places” I told him we both need to look and see how we both can work together our income.

He never bothered and said I can do it by myself as in get the place and I just let him know how much he has to give me for the rent. Like splitting. Again he pressured me to get pregnant. I’d get mad and he would say “our relationship is a joke. I need a woman who hustles with me”

That comment really threw me off because I offered to look together. I wasn’t even expecting him to pay it all. I have no clue and I thought it takes two to do the research. I thought both need to sign a contract or something …

He said he had no clue either. He broke up with me because I didn’t give him a kid.

So my question is “am I supposed to do the looking for apartments by myself??” He really made me feel like some gold digger who just wants a man to financially support her
