Does ivf change the lenght of your cycle?

Hi everyone 👋🏻 I hope you are all doing great 😊 
I had my fresh 5 day embryo transfer 1 week ago and I have my beta on Monday. Glow’s prediction is that I will get my period tomorrow and I was wondering If I should keep my hopes up if it doesn’t show up or it’s just that the ivf process have made my cycle longer. I am trying to relax and avoid thinking about it, I really am! But easier said than done 🧘‍♀️

The progesterone is going to keep your period from starting so it won’t be a reliable way to tell if your transfer worked or not. Hoping she doesn’t show up for the next 9 months though! 🤞🏼

I honestly couldn’t keep track of my period during IVF. I was in and off birth control so much and my bleeding transfer back to back was really unusual to my normal period. Anyway… I just figure due to IVF my period won’t be very accurate anyway so I just go by transfer date and leave it at that.

My predicted period start was like two days after my transfer and I was confused about that as well. All the meds you are on will prevent you from starting your period though!

You are on progesterone so you shouldn’t get a period either way. It takes me about 4 days after stopping progesterone for my period to start.
