When should i test

My app said i was suppose to ovulate October 30 but I ovulated late this month, November 5. egwcm/positive opk. I’m 5dpo TODAY(November 10) My period is due November 15, so I’ll be 10dpo when it’s suppose To show up. My periods has been on time, I’m just not sure when to test. Yes I know to just wait till my period shows up, but realistically I can’t 🥴 Is 10dpo safe to test? Will a 5 day sooner work?

Also trying not to symptom spot, but I woke up to the smell of my perfume that I haven’t used in months!?!! I asked my husband if he sprayed it for some reason and he said no. I’m 5dpo, I know it’s early but I’ve always read other moms with there early symptoms!
