Unsure

The last time I was pregnant (2014) I lost it. My husband and I have been trying again since 2016 with no luck let. Now I’m ten days late and I don’t wanna hope and be disappointed because I’m not gonna lie I’m scared..but... do I take a test now or wait another week just to be sure? I have a tilted uterus and have been told it’s harder to conceive but not impossible. Around December of last year my period skipped a month but I wasn’t pregnant. Now I’m nervous that it may be that. Any words of wisdom or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
