Are the uk birthing rules in the uk normal now?

I had my baby during lockdown and my partner was literally only allowed in with me from when I was 10cms. So basically two hours he was there. I was on my own before all this and after baby was born. Wondering if things have changed? Due with second baby in 5 weeks

Depends on the hospital. I was allowed my partner with me during my c section, recovery room and postnatal ward 9am until 830pm then he had to go home

Oh that sucks! And I think they have, not too sure as I'm having an elective c section in 3 weeks but was told my partner can stay with me during the whole procedure and be in the ward with me afterwards. But he will be the only person allowed to visit me, no one else during my whole stay however long that is
