How do you feel after hair cut?

Question

Have you ever had long hair and decided to chop it what did it feel like after?
I've seen some short hair look beautiful on women with beautiful features
Long hair has been treasured for years and it looks pretty but it's heavy a lot of maintenance scalp maintenance also
I wonder if short hair is more trouble because always have to style it might have to use products I'm allergic to fragrances chemicals. 
I usually wear my hair down or in a ponytail so it's easy

I got about 9 inches cut off about a month ago. I honestly love my shorter hair. It’s long enough to pull back into a low pony. I’ve always loved long hair and I was letting mine grow has long has I could, but my hair is naturally wavy/ curly and it’s not super thick. So it just look kind of limp and lifeless.. I do blow it straight and put some loose wavy in it and I can go like 4 days without messing with it. It’s great! However I’m 19 weeks pregnant and I think I’ll let it grow out a little so once the baby gets here I can just throw my hair up in a bun and call it a day.

I love chopping long hair off lol at first it feels really light and cold on the back of the neck, depending how short you go but you get used to it. I almost never style it if that makes you feel better lol, but I almost never styled my long hair either 🤣 as long as its brushed I don't really care what it looks like 🤣 but I do love giving my hair a good chop every couple years or so. My last chop was about 7in

I had never cut my hair until I turned 24, which is when I cut it off short and donated it. It ended up being way less maintenance for me, and I have kept it on the shorter side since. I brush it in the morning and at night and that’s it. Sometimes I will put it up in a ponytail. With my long hair, I often had to put it up just to keep it out of my way, and had to wash it much more often to fight the tangles.

I've always had long hair. I did cut it all off once to donate. But I hated my short hair. It was so much more work than my long hair, having to style it every day. I rarely style my long hair (it's wavy naturally) so I leave it down or do half up most of the time.

I’ve had long hair pretty much always. I just don’t have the fave for super short hair (which sucks because some of the styles are gorgeous!) the shortest I’ve done was essentially chin length. My hair is very fine so volume is always trouble for me and I chopped thinking it would be easier. For some hair types it may be for mine it turned out to be more maintenance. I Had to style it or it was AWFUL. Long hair I can do just about anything with. But when I’m craving something I just opt for different cuts, long layers, choppy front, most recently I did a dramatic lob. 
It just really all depends on preference and hair type, but in the end weather you love it or hate it, it all grows back right? Maybe just let the what if’s go and give it a whirl….
