Birth story

Tell me your birth stories. Mine was quite interesting and didn't go anyway planned. Supposed to birth in water pool at home. Woke up November 8th water slowly breaking with no contractions or labor to start. Told Midwife what was going on and she gave me some home tips to try and start labor. I thought I wouldn't be in labor for awhile so sent hubby to work like normal day. The labor tips she gave me actually sped up labor and having my contractions go by faster than expected. I went from 20 minutes apart to 3 minutes apart in a matter of 40 minutes with husband and midwife a few minutes away. I felt the pressure to go poop while on the phone with midwife before I knew it I was giving birth alone and baby was in my toilet while I regained the ability to catch up with what was going on. My midwife just coached me through it and I call my husband whom is 7 minutes away that I tried to hold it in but almost impossible. He unfortunately walked into a bloody massacre with me on the couch with baby and placenta in my hands. This is our last child but to say it went the way planned or the same as my daughters birth is an understatement. We were all well and healthy but it was a trip in the moment.
