Newborn feeding question

Jessee

So my son just turned 1 month on the 10th, he’s passed his birthweight. He was 9lbs 3oz when first born, went down to 8lbs (forgot the oz), and he’s went up to 10lbs 4oz (as of Nov 2nd, he could weight more now). I’ve been waking him up every 4 hours to eat, even after nights, sometimes he wakes up on his own at the 4 hour mark to eat too. But should I keep waking him up, like at night, or just let let him sleep until he wakes up on his own to eat? Like what if he goes past the 4 hour mark and doesn’t wake up until much later? Since he’s past his birthweight do I let him sleep as long as he wants at night or keep waking him up every 4 hours?

Also side note: I was grocery shopping with my husband and our son was at home, being watched by his grandpa and great grandma, and at the store I started leaking like crazy out of nowhere. We got home and my baby was crying, so turns out the body really does know when you’re baby is hungry or just crying hahaha. Ps. They were feeding him a breast milk bottle, but he wanted the real thing 🤣
