Husbands friend staying over

Husband just told me his friends are coming over and one of them are staying the night. His friend literally lives 5 minutes from our house so I don’t see why he would be sleeping here? We have plans in the morning so I find it to be a bit odd. Anyway, I grew up in a household where having men sleep over is a big no especially if they live around the corner. If it was a friend from out of town then sure. Kinda bothered that he didn’t even bother to ask me either. Thoughts?
