Spotting

Okay, so I was told spotting was normal during early pregnancy (I’m just over five weeks), but is there amount of spotting where I should be concerned?

I’ve had brown spotting since Tuesday - randomly had a bit of bright red spotting Tuesday night, but just brown since then. I talked to the nurse I had and she said it’s normal and gave me a bunch of signs to look out for.

Has anyone else had this sort of thing before? Is there amount where I should be concerned?
