I had sex and I bled!

Ok. So I am 29 years old. Tubes tied. Period have always been regular. But Something weird happened to me Wednesday morning. Ok so I was having sex with my husband. And after we finished. He had blood on him. I was in shock. Embarrassed because my period wasn’t expecting to be on until 4 days later. So I bled very heavily for only 2 days. That Wednesday I bled heavily and cramped really bad. Then the exact same thing Thursday. Now it’s Friday. I have no blood. My period Normally last me 5-7 days. Can you have a period for two days?! Or was this something else? Do I need to call my doctor?

I have yearly exams. I had one 6 months ago. I was normal.
